4th Year In-the-Making with Connecticut Fashion Week™

Connecticut Fashion Week is set to run from Oct 31rd - November 2nd with Community events surrounding the main shows for 2014, with a "Revisited" theme!!!!

Connecticut Fashion Week seeks to celebrate the state’s rich culture with an international theme as models and designers from various ethnic backgrounds are  integral parts of all events.  While the week is a celebration of Connecticut fashion it is also a way for organizers to collaborate with community-based and non-profit organizations to assist persons in need.  To RSVP, please email your name, contact information to ctfashionweek@gmail.com

--2013--

CTFW 2013 was held September 21st,  2013 with a Press Conference, Media Event. Models, staff and supporters are invited to get first-hand information on the event details, schedule and highlights. There was also details about the potential for CT Fashion Week on improving business commerce and tourism.  The conference took place at 5pm, Paul Mitchell of North Haven, 97 Washington Ave., North Haven, CT.  

Thursday September 19th, CT Fashion Week performed a Sneak Preview show at the Official Fun Girls Night Out at Anthonys Ocean View in New Haven.

A major highlight and Debut of the week was a stream of continuous fashion attire on September 28th featuring the star power of Layana Aguilar, Project Runway Designer from Season 11.  As CT Fashion Week’s guest designer, she showcased her signature contemporary and feminine line.

Day 1:  Exciting Designer Feature….Project Runway Designer Layana Aguilar to Showcase

Layana Aguilar, Project Runway Designer from Season 11, was a special feature guest designer on Saturday September 28th 2013.  Layana’s collections offer different styles. For instance the NY style offers contemporary and feminine merchandise to consumers that transition from day to night, not only making them look beautiful, but also facilitating them in their busy day to day lives. The LA Style brings contemporary clothes that are sophisticated and rich in detail with timeless silhouettes.
